Over this Labor day weekend the historic Fort Bridger has been hosting their annual Mountain Man Rendezvous! We decided it was time to start our tradition of attending. It was fun! What is really neat is that everything has to be authentic. Everyone who participates in any activities is authentically dressed down to the shoes, all the TP's and tents are authentic, all the food and drinks are authentic, all the things sold are hand made and authentic to what they made and traded in the olden times. They even have demonstrations on making flag poles, making bullets, Indian dances, etc. The food was AMAZING! They even had home made root beer and cream soda that they put in authentic glass bottles from a big wooden barrel! It was great! We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to next year!
