Camping Cowboys!

A happy boy playing with his favorite toy in the world...a stick!

Friday night mom had reached the point where she was tired of making meals and dad had received some Burger King coupons in the mail so we were going to the gas station on I-80 for some dinner. We had never been there before but the boys were excited to get crowns. While eating mom noticed a guy walking to his car that we recognized from our ward in Holiday. Dad ran out to talk to him and see what he was doing out here. It turns out that our old bishop owns a ranch in Robertson which is just 10 mins from where we now live and they were having their annual father and sons camp out! Richard and Kayden were invited to attend and so we ran home to pack and then headed out there. It was so neat to see all of our old friends again and wonderful to hear how great they were doing! Ryan and mom came back the next day to participate in some of the events of the day.

Kayden rode a horse, and Ryan sat on one for two seconds and screamed. Kayden went fishing and caught a fish!

We went on the paddle boats and paddled around the pond, which was very fun.

We also went on a tracker ride where the bishop had Kayden help drive the tractor. On the tractor ride we went and saw the old school house from the 1800's when only 7 families lived here would go to school and church in.

It was a neat experience. We had fun roasting marsh mellows and then after getting sun burnt called it a beautiful day.

nathaniel and I especially love the picture of Kayden with his stick in the grass. So perfect! And I really like your music. I'm no good at picking it out myself, but I enjoy listening. You are a fantastic mother.
