After many hours of watching the kids on end with daddy not being home, and dealing with builders and other stresses of building a house I figured it was time to have fun with the wonderful mommy friends that I have found here in Mountain View. I have never found so many wonderful ladies in one location in my life and we had fun together too. We played a fun game called Mormon Mouthful, had LOTS of sugary/chocolaty goodies, and talked a bunch! It was fun to spend time with such great friends, of which I am so grateful to have!
The boys and I also had a lot of fun that morning at Annie's house. Annie's apple trees actually produced apples this year and now she is up to her ears in apples, so the super starks came to the rescue. Kayden and Ryan had fun playing with their friends, Trace, Kennedy, and Jackson while Annie and I pealed and pealed and pealed delicious apples. Then I showed Annie how to make home made apple sauce that was to die for. The kids would have eaten all of it if we hadn't have stopped them for fear they wouldn't eat dinner! Hurray for Apple Farmer Annie (This is the title of a darling book we had checked out from the library and now Kayden thinks my friend Annie is Apple Farmer Annie)!
