It has been Ryan's pride and joy to raid my cupboards by shopping! It is too cute to watch! Poor KC got bought on one of his outings but he didn't seem to mind! He is just my happy boy who loves to cuddle!

Excitement for a garden!
We planted our garden in little cups and still have it indoors until we get moved and settled and then we will have a real garden outside! Hopefully we will enjoy some fresh food at the end of this summer! Don't you love how the boys involved KC by putting dirt on his head. Oh the joy!

The boys playing bob the builder!
Kayden doing his ironing.
KC discovering that cute baby!
I taught my boys well...SHOPPING!
The market ran out of eggs so KC was sent to get some.

Kayden and Ryan playing in the water, also KC's favorite. KC not so happy because I interrupted his reading time to put a dumb costume on him and take a picture! :)
The boys pretending to be a train! Choo choo!

Experiments...Oh the Joy!
This experiment has probably been the hardest for me to get the gumption to do. To be honest it was nasty! Nana sent us some owl pellets to dissect and find rat bones in! Thank you nana.
Here is a skull.
Here is our full skeleton of a rat! Kayden wanted to hang it on the fridge but I made him put it in his bedroom because it was grossing me out.
This is our human sundial that the boys made! Every hour we would go out and measure our shadows!
Here are some beans that the boys had sprout and planted and are trying to grow!
Here is our tasty experiment of learning about freezing and melting!
Haha!
Just kidding this is just the boys enjoying some ice cream cones now that it is finally summer weather!
This had to have been our coolest experiment yet! Kayden has been dying to do this experiment for months and we finally had the weather cooperate on a weekend that we could do it! We took a diet coke and put mentos in it, shook it up, had our daring dad throw it at the ground and it rocketed into the air! The boys LOVED it! It was cool!

Who Did it?!
Here is Kayden sporting his new night vision goggles that he bought with his birthday money. He loves them in case you can't tell!
Here is Kayden going to the bathroom at night with them and reading a book in his bed with them!
Here is the rest of our figure print experiment! We had three people drink from cups and them we put the cups in sealed containers with super glue for an hour and then pulled them out and examined the figure prints to see you drank it! The boys had a blast and so did we!

Forensic Science Fun!
Lets hear it for Bill Nye the Science guy! He is our favorite and thanks to him we are learning about finger prints, and DNA!
We took a pencil and scribbled a bunch in one section, rubbed our index finger on it and then took clear tape to pull off our figure print and stick it to paper, so we could see all of our finger prints! They were similar but all different! We discovered that we all have whorl designs on our finger prints!
Kayden and Ryan want to know what everyone's finger print designs are so "TRY IT" as Bill Nye would say, and let us know!
Stay tuned for the case of the missing apple juice, as detectives Ryan and Kayden figure out who drank it...
