Richard brought home sour candy and wanted to see the kids reaction. Of course Ryan was not phased one bit. He can handle anything hot, sour, whatever!

Two cute boys in their blues clues chair!

Our Weekend!

Here is Kayden playing with his cousin Connor while the adults were moving boxes! It was so cute, I came down and Conor had these huge instructions upside down on his lap and Kayden was on the floor with the Thomas the Train toy and Conor was telling him you put the screw in and Kayden was trying to fit that screw in every hole he saw! This is a picture of Kayden opening his birthday present from his Grandma and Grandpa Stark!

Our Basement!

We are still going strong on our basement! Things have been going a TON faster since Richard found a nail gun to borrow! We hired out the section at the bottom of the stairs for someone else to put in a supporting beam because we did not trust ourselves with that but it turned out very nicely! We are so excited!

The Recenter

Th recenter here in our town had a free night where they provided free BBQ dinner and then had the recenter be free all night. The boys had a blast! We swam most of the time and then we found a big blow up jungle gym and slide in the gym that we got pictures of them enjoying!

Hurray!

We are now rid of the lemon computer and fully set up on our new laptop that works WAY faster and never freezes on us! Hurray! Now to get caught up on our lives as they have passed threw these trialing times. Here is a picture of the boys looking at celery, potatoes, flower pedals, apple pieces, etc. through the microscope. We really had fun!

We give up!

We finally gave up on our old computer and when we went to Salt Lake this weekend to help Richard's brother move we also bought a new computer. We bought our first laptop and are excited to sit anywhere to use it! Who knew we were at such an inconvenience before when we had to sit at a desk to type. The boys had their birthday pictures done on Saturday and they turned out cute!
Now it is time to start another week. Here is hoping it goes better than last week as we use a new computer, new cell phones, work on our basement, and plan Richard's graduation this coming Saturday!

New home phone 4 sale!

If anyone needs an amazing home phone we have it! We bought a three system telephone (top of the line), only used it three days and 4 phone calls and now we can not find the box to be able to return it. Man it has been a rough week. It talks to tell you whose calling when someone calls. It has everything. It retails for $120 we paid $80 and would just like to recoup as much of the cost as possible. Let me know if you are interested! Thanks!

FORGET THE NEW PHONE NUMBER!!!!

Gosh darn it this has been frustrating! We went with vonage home phone to cut our phone bill in half but no one there mentioned that we had to have fast enough Internet and of course out here in the middle of Wyoming we do not! So we have to cancel our home phone and keep our cell phones. Same cell numbers Kristina 307-747-0260 and Richard 307-747-0261. ARGH!

Our Saturday!

We had all of our wood and supplies delivered on Friday and Richard was so excited to start on the basement that he went to town today! He built two long walls and loaded all of our wood downstairs! The boys were big helpers too! They handed dad nails, the hammer, and measuring tape! We are so excited, and Dad is doing a great job!
P.S. Just to let everyone know our schedule to finish the basement in case you are totally bored and want to come help or you want your husband to learn how to do anything.
Saturday May 9th: Richard's family is up to help us finish framing
Saturday May 16th: The Wonderful Dave Cooper will be here to help us do electrical
Saturday May 22-24: My dad is flying in from Chicago to help us hang drywall, puddy (we found a new way to puddy without sanding and making a mess, and it's quicker! Hurray!), hang doors, and put on trim (hopefully we will get all that done)
The following weekends we will be finishing up and I will be painting!
So come join in the fun if you would like!

Rock On!!

For employee appreciation this week they had the theme of Accounting Rocks! They had to get together into groups, decorate guitars, pick a song to lip sink to, and then get all dressed up for the battle of the bands! Richard's Rock Star name was Richard 4th meal Stark! So of course his guitar had food all over it and the song his group chose was At The BBQ! It was hilarious! Richard has missed his true calling!

OUR NEW PHONE NUMBER!!!!

Write this down because come this weekend, most likely, our cell phones will be turned off (dumb things, happy to be rid of them!). We are going cell phone less! You heard me right! Here is our home number 307-224-4955. Thanks and love you all!

A Magic Show!

One of the boyscouts in our ward arranged for a magician to come to the church and put on a show for a group of mentally disabled people and anyone in the ward who wanted to come. Well, Richard found out who the magician was, he is famous. He has won magician contests in Vegas and traveled the world by requests to do shows. After his show last night he was off to Vegas by another request to come do a show. The crazy thing is that we knew this kid in our ward when we lived in Mountain View and had no idea!!!! He is only 18 years old and will graduate with his bachelors degree from BYU before leaving on his mission. He belongs to a large family and the only way he could do all of this is because his wonderful mother home schools all of them. She is an amazing woman! It was a VERY fun, incredible show and the boys had a blast! They both received signed cards and have been performing magic tricks all morning! I'm grateful for the wonderful example this great young man is to my boys!

Nut Nuts!

This is Kayden having fun with the stickers the Easter bunny gave him!

We were eating strawberries outside and the boys dropped one and so we fed it to the ants! The boys had a blast watching the ants devour it!
The boys trying to wear their dad's clothes!

The boys got some marshmellows in their easter eggs and their dad was throwing them in the air and then catching them in his mouth so of course the boys had to try too!

My Big 4 year old Boy!

We had some of Kayden's friends over on Saturday and so we made sure to sing him happy birthday a little early with his friends! He loved it and everyone enjoyed cake! Kayden even, some how, sat in his and we had to retrace his steps and clean up cake all over the couch. Nut, nut! Then on Monday, his real birthday, he was able to pick where he wanted to eat for dinner and then open presents! He choose to have cheeseburgers and eat them at a picnic in the park (it was a nice day that day)! Kayden was so excited to open his gifts! He got the Fly Guy books from his family and then Nana and Papa sent him a blow up water slide! We can't wait until it is warm to try it out!

Happy Easter

On Saturday morning we went to our ward party and the boys had fun doing an Easter egg hunt! It helped them be pros for Easter morning! Then at 6am Easter morning mom woke up in a panic because mom and dad forgot to set out any Easter stuff! Then the boys actually slept in until 8am!!!! So Mom didn't have to wake up early after all, but mom and dad enjoyed having breakfast together, and getting around by ourselves for the first time in forever. Then the boys had fun Easter egg hunting!

Here are the boys in their Sunday Easter outfits from Grandma Stark! Isn't Ryan's just darling!!!! Because it had a dog on it he actually stayed in nursery by himself for the first time!! HURRAY! His teacher kept asking him about the dog on his shirt and it would make him happy again! And then there is my little grown up man Kayden. He looks so handsome!

DUMB TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!

As everyone knows who has called me or I have tried to call them my dumb phone won't transmit my voice, so half the time no one can hear me! We end up having to call each other three times or more to actually have a conversation and then half the time I sound fuzzy. Now our computer is having issues! We took it in and our hard drive was dieing! After a week we finally got it back but now it is running slower than ever! What a pain! I will get caught up updating Kayden's birthday and everything else we have done as soon as we get our computer back to normal!

Videos from Chicago trip!

Getting Nana!

Getting Papa!

Pillow Fight!

Wolves howling at the zoo!

Backwards Day!

Today we learned about backwards, forwards and sideways! Of course we had to wear our clothes backwards today, which smart Kayden caught on! He figured out instantly that in order to walk forwards we actually had to walk backwards! We got very creative figuring out how to kiss and hug forwards (which was really backwards)! Crazy fun!

Yesterday's Masterpiece!

Yesterday, we painted on a huge box that covered the kitchen floor. We drove cars in paint and then drove them on the box and saw the tracks they made! Then we painted with our hands and feet! The boys had a blast and made a wonderful work of art! Then mom threw them in the bath tub! Hurray, for washable paint!

We're Back!

We are back from our fun filled trip to Nana's house in Chicago! Back to the grind of doing everything by myself and having no fun girls to talk to. Oh, I miss my mom and sisters already! I am still feeling sick and tired as ever and so today I put a call into the doctor and am starting some medication to see if it will help at all. I sure hope so! While we were out in Chicago we made a book of all the fun times that we had. Papa bound it together and as soon as Nana sends it to me I will copy the pages and post them on here so everyone can see all the fun pictures!
