We have Drywall!!

We showed up at our house on Monday and were surprised to see that they had done the drywall in one day! Now it is really starting to look like a house. Richard did a video but it is taking to long to upload so I will take pictures next time I am up there. We are so excited!!

Ant Army!

We found a darling ant farm for Kayden and Ryan and they have had a ball learning about and watching ants! It is the coolest ant farm I have seen. It has three different farms that are connected by tubes. The main farm has buildings for the ants to come in and out of and it is so cool to watch the ants crawl through the tubes! We had some friends over and made ants out of marsh mellows, pretzels, and raisins. It helped the kids learn how many body parts and what kind of body parts an ant has! The kids loved it! They sure have been a fun addition to our home!

Pretty Views! Pretty House!

Here is our house with the cement on it all ready for the colored stucco and stone! The dry wall will also be put up next week! Hurray! Check out the sky in the back ground! While standing in our house looking out the windows we saw a storm that had passed earlier and it had a rainbow over it! So pretty!

Loony for Lagoon!

For Richard's summer work party they paid for all of us to go to Lagoon, have dinner, and all have matching lime green T-shirts. I was excited for the first two, but lime green T-shirts come on! At least it made it easy to spot each other from a mile away! It all started with some happy and very excited boys who could not wait to play! We showed up just in time to see the Peterson family (Lagoon experts) and to join forces with them. The guys went and rode rides with almost no lines. Richard rode wicked, batman, and some others. In the end he was proud of all that he rode. The kids and I went to the kiddy rides for some fun. Here is Kayden and his friend Trace flying an air plane. Everyone Duck!!

Kayden could ride all the rides and Ryan had fun watching, for a while. Finally we found a fun car ride that Ryan could ride with his brother and he loved it!
Here is one of us almost getting Ryan to ride a mini roller coaster but before it even started he knew he didn't want to ride it. We had daddy come get him. Kayden, Trace, Kennedy, Annie, and I had fun riding Puff the dragon roller coaster.

Another favorite ride of both Kayden's and Ryan's was the train ride. We all went and road the train and it was fun.

After that we were all getting pretty hot and tired and we just needed something to cool us off so we headed to Lagoona beach for the water! We had fun swimming in the Lazy river and Kayden had a blast going down the kiddy water slides. He wanted to go down the BIG water slides but he wasn't tall enough. They also had some fun swings that were in the water that Kayden and Ryan liked which now I realize we didn't take any pictures of the water portion of our day but it was fun and felt good. It was just the refresher that we needed. After that we met up with all our friends and co-workers at a pavilion and had dinner. We couldn't eat much because we were so hot and tired but we sure drank a lot. Now we have reached the end of our trip. The boys were exhausted and mom and dad were tired 0f dealing with the boys while standing in line (mom when are we going to ride, I want to ride, when is it my turn, cry whine cry whine, ect.). Kayden was bummed that he didn't get to ride any of the big roller coasters with daddy because he was too small (which I would have been curious to see if he would have actually rode one) but all in all it was a fun day!

Fun Past Times!

Here is our fun trip to Rock Springs last Friday with our friends Annie, Trace, Kennedy, and Jackson. After a while of shuffling car seats and using every bit of mother's strength, we got the car seats to fit in the van and we were off. The kids were watching Finding Nemo and the moms were talking away. We did the main tour, Walmart, home depot, Alphies (a craft store), and then headed to McDonald's for lunch and the kids play place. Trace was scared to go up in the play place at first but with Kayden's loving help he was off and running before long. The kids slept the whole way home, and with two exhausted moms I would say the trip was a successful one. What great friends we have. While at Walmart they had a whole bunch of Batman masks on sale, which the kids loved. It was a Batman Invasion!!

Pink never looked so good!

We were at the house today which is all chicken wired up to be stuccoed and stoned! They also were putting in the insulation, which was exciting to see but not fun for the boys who used to love to run and play through the house freely but no more!

The closest we will EVER get to camping!

Now that Daddy is away on vacation the real fun begins! We started by spending the day with friends and of course checking on our house in Evanston. Next we decided to set up our dome tent in the living room, which what is a tent without goodies. Next it was a trip to Benedict's to get loaded; cookies, ice cream, popcorn and we were ready. As you can see the boys had a ball wrestling and seeing how much pressure our poor tent could hold. The tent did well but mom's nerves, however, did not. Our sleeping in the tent in the living room plans were canceled but it was still an enjoyable evening (and daddy was jealous of our snacks which makes it ten times more fun! :)
