We are never alone...

I think this post is not just me being truthful about the way I feel right now and have found myself feeling more often lately but also to help all those out there who I am sure have felt the same way as well.
I was about to post about how I am feeling down. I am frustrated. I don't understand everything that I want to. I don't know what lies ahead and I am dieing to. I feel stuck without answers. A bunch of promptings that never turn out the way I want them too or have not turned out at all.
We were anticipating a call from JCPenny this week about Richard getting a job and it has not happened and even found out that they are interviewing other candidates. We had the perfect car picked out to buy Richard when he got the phone call for a job and now it is gone. I had my heart set on a house to buy once Richard got that phone call for a job and we sold our home and now that house is sold and gone and taken all my dreams with it.
I was getting ready to type all this and stop right here and then I looked over at my Young Women's calendar and read our scripture for this new year and it couldn't have spoken more clearly, "Be strong and of a good courage: be not afraid. neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord they God is with thee withersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9)"
Even though I may be confused and frustrated, I am not alone and Heavenly Father knows what is going on and has things under control. It is in his hands which are much more capable than my hands and a better plan than I could ever have. I just need to have faith and trust him. We all do. I guess that is life. What a wonderful blessing that we are not alone.

That's an excellent scripture. My biggest comfort has come from the scriptures and temple. Things are then put in perspective and worldly stuff seems a bit less traumatic. I sure love you Kristina. You are a strong woman and with the Lord's help you and your family can make it through this and every trial you are put through. The bummed out feelings are good to express, though - just letting it out there does good and helps us to move on. That saying "life is a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get" is sorta true, but what it doesn't express is that the fillings aren't always sweet as candy. Who would expect their mom to die or their husband to stop loving them or their really stable job to fall through suddenly? Seriously, now when I'm having a smooth-sailing kind of time I wonder what is around the corner because I know it won't last! :) You are doing a wonderful job of keeping your boys in a normal pattern and teaching them to trust in their Heavenly Father. If you do end up in UT we must get together regularly.
