First off never mind the time that I posted this blog. I have actually been up since 3am with contractions and my medicine has side effects of caffeine. Along with nesting this produced a morning of running around the house in between contractions feeling like I needed everything to be ready for Kaylee! Crazy!
But anyway, I had to show everyone what I made last night! Annie told me how to make these and we were supposed to make them at the shower but ended up not having time. So cute Annie gave me all the stuff to make them and told me how. Let me tell you they were sooooo easy and turned out soooooo cute! You take pantie hose and cut out a leg portion so it makes a circle to go around the babies head. Then you hot glue a little piece of ribbon around the nylon band (to hold the flower clip). Then you take ribbon, hot glue it around an alligator clip (keeps it from catching little girl hair and hurting), and then you glue on a flower. That way all you need is one band of each color and as many flowers to clip on that band to match her outfits. I also love how when Kaylee out grows the head band I can use the flowers as hair clips! Genius and Darling!!
