Our work trip with Dad!

Before going on our trip we made maps with little pictures of all the places we were going to visit so the boys could follow along and they Loved that! Here are the boys in Rawlins WY at a cute museum they have there. The boys had a picture of a human skull on their map that they had to find in the museum.

Next stop was the haunted prison they have their. It is historical and kind of scary but we had fun getting admitted. Richard called to see where we were and we told him we were in prison and he asked, "Should I come bail you out? What did you do?" Nut, nut!

This was a very cute and fun restaurant we ate at.

This was a cute old car we found that the boys had fun driving!

Here is a TP we found which was perfect because we learned about how the Indians believed that the Hot Springs had healing powers and we went to see the Hot Springs in Saratoga WY next!

Here are the Hot Springs in Saratoga! It was too hot to swim in so we went and played in a river near by where we found cute little fish that swam all over and around Kayden's feet! It was fun! You can even see how one day when I was painting my toe nails Kayden had to have his painted too! Richard wants to take it off but Kayden keeps telling him, "I will run from you!"
In Saratoga they also have an historic hotel that is now a restaurant. I found an old black and white picture of it when it was opened with a stage coach out front and everything. It was neat to see the boys recognize it from the old photo!

Cool! It looks like you guys had a blast!
I had to laugh to see Kayden's painted toenail. Yeah, I don't think Josh is a big fan of boys wearing nail polish either, but poor Nathaniel felt so left out when I did Rebekah's, I let him wear the lightest of pink on his big toes. ;)

I had a friend with all girls and one boy and she would paint her son's toe nails too. She would just tell her husband, "At least he will realize that painting your nails is no big deal now and so he won't do it when he's in high school!"
