Ryan's birthday was a hit, with him anyway and that is what matters! He wanted to go to the McDonald's play place for his birthday dinner but Richard ended up having to work late on Friday so we went and had dinner at a nice restaurant in Mountain view. Then we came home and Ryan opened his gifts! Every time he opened a gift he just wanted to play with the toy. We showed him that he had other gifts to open and you could see the debate, play with the toy or open another gift. Too funny! He loved all his gifts. Then on Saturday his cousins came up and they had a blast playing with toys, balloons, the sandbox (because the gift from Nana were sand toys), and singing happy birthday to Ryan and having cake! Ryan's number one wish for his birthday was to have a Banana cake and he had fun helping me make it!
