Well actually only a hunt for deer antler sheds! Sadly after going to several locations and being out for a couple hours we realized that around here the people are pros at it and we were not but we had fun finding other things!
Richard found a deer leg with skin and all still on it and for some reason wanted a picture. Yuck!
Then Kayden found a deer femur bone so of course that one came home with us and got washed up and put in Kayden's bone box in the garage. I was amazed at how big their leg bones are. It was as big as my femur bone!
Then Kayden found a monarch butterfly that had sadly already died but it was fun to examine him with all his beautiful colors! It was so cute, while we were out looking for deer antlers Kayden goes there are some antlers dad. So Richard is frantically looking all over the ground and then Ryan joins in too, "Antlers dad, antlers!" Richard finally looks up and sees two deer right in front of us staring at us. We walked quickly backwards and went to the car. Too bad they couldn't shed them right then and there!
