This post requires a disclaimer: We apologize to all of our wonderful friends for whom there was not room to invite to this party. We are sorry that you missed out on a fun time but look forward to inviting you to future fun with our family!
We had a little party to welcome in and celebrate this wonderful holiday season with some of our friends. We had a friendly and fun competition between families to see who could build the best ginger bread house! They all turned out so cute, although the Hadley’s blew everyone out of the water with their Santa Clause and chimney on the roof. The Stark’s and Sarah had a cute door and window, and the Peterson’s had quite the time keeping their walls together, but we all had fun! Then the kids decorated some gingerbread man cookies while we waited for dinner to finish cooking. The dinner was amazing and stretched out our stomachs so we should all now be ready to handle Thanksgiving Dinner! But the meal wasn't over yet, Sarah whipped out her amazing desert that even with our full tummies we could not deny it! Lets just say that if you ever want desert after dinner invite Sarah over to make it! The kids had a blast playing, the ladies enjoyed talking, and the guys popped out the Nintendo so all in all it was a successful evening!
